I still love the energy and sound of Bring It On Down.

All Around the World would be a cool song if it was like 5 minutes shorter.

Live Forever was voted NME's best rock n roll song ever followed by Imagine.
Just thought I'd mention that little titbit.

Ah ha ha!
Around the train station!!!!
Funny how with all those great bands Manchester is now just ritzy bars and townies!
I reckon as it is not huge like London when Ian Brown is having a party everyone knows. Who lives near Shaun Ryder and others. Like how it was with the Clash in Kilburn in the seventies. Does Shaun Ryder live there near you? What about in 24 hour party people when he is on the train to London!!!

But the town cetnre is now neon lit pink alco pops razzle Hollyoaks isn't it?

NME is a great music paper.
Maybe you don't think so.
Let me know why.

Is it because it doesn't pander to hairspray rock like Poison and Wasp?

The Clash were from Brixton not Kilburn

I hate hairspray rock so your'e opinion of me and music tastes are way out. NME make or break bands and have a monopoly on covering the UK indie scene. It is not their fault that there is a severe lack of quality music journals for competition, however they champion some average bands that are doing nothing different musically to the scene ten years ago. What the NME say's we should be listening to is'nt always a representation of the good stuff that's around.

Hairspray rock ffs. Tssk.

I've always seen the NME as smash hits for students
