So you DO like the black parade?

Oh man MCR is my biggest guilty pleasure. I can't help but feel a little strange listening to it, but overall its just catchy pop punk that spawned an awful scene.

I never said I didn't like it.

I just don't like that they had their little alter-ego AT their peak, they should have continued with MCR for a bit.

That said, they're back in the studio. [=

just, black parade. thats all i really care for of thiers. but they are NOT a metal band. not even close. whoever says that can have a little chit-chat with Kirk Hammet.

S_Shinji 07-07-2009 04:03 PM

How the hell is MCR even remotely close to metal. I mean people who mistake nu metal for it are one thing but wtf is this.

Dude. I remember back in like 02 or 03 when MCR came to my hometown and they were nobodys and we just kicked it and talked about music and movies. i can't believe they are so big..but id say they are a guilty pleasure..but i wouldnt consider them metal at all.

I don't mind them. :)

My fav songs from them would be The Ghost of You, Helena and Famous Last Words.

HTH.

New album's supposed to "return to their roots". I hope it sounds like the first two albums and nothing like TBP or the Desolation Row cover.
Thoughts?
