Unless you are prepared to to say you are familiar with Oomphs lyrics and the German language enough to determine Oomph is selling out to thier German audience, you could only be talking about the American/English lyrics.

You have absolutely no understanding of anything that anybody says. It's just simply embarrassing. It's kinda funny too, you angst ridden metallers who think you're really intelligent and all that - while half of what you say or respond with just adds up to a disjointed incoherent mind flapping all over the place.

Stop trying...or as the case may be, stop NOT trying...

I am familier with them , you know why?

BECAUSE YOU POSTED THEM

And why do I need to be familiar with the german language? A cliche is a cliche in any language.

without it you can't deviate from the norm because there would be no norm. End of alternative music.

Alternative music isn't created on the very grounds of deviating from the norm, if pop/chart/mainstream music all died today the alternative music would still exist stand-alone, it doesn't require mainstream corporate trash to be what it is.

I posted a few lines of thier sparse english lyrics, which you fail epically to explain how it is cliche (you just simply 'declared' that it is)

If you can't understand German and you aren't familiAr with the language, you can't know that they use cliches.

"Cliche" isn't just a language-specific thing. There may be cliches that are specific to a language, but there is also such thing as THEMATIC cliches. Many themes are cliched and hackneyed, whether sung by Germans, by English people or whatever. You'd have to be from a culture where the themes are not cliched in order for it to not be hackneyed.

Makes no difference if I understand German or not , and what makes you assume that I don't? Even so it's totally irrelevant because the lyrics you posted were English ... and rubbish.

Then frankly, it's not possible to be not cliche

Singing about cancer, even as a metaphor or symbolism, AT ALL, is automatically a cliche? Just because they simply speak about an element that is commin within a cliche does not mean that they, themselves are cliche.

I didn't post the english lyrics to show you they weren't cliche I posted the english lyrics to show that they are more articulate, even in thier second language, than american artists are in thier first.

You claimed they were cliche after that despite only seeing a small minority of thier lyrics
