I think the music is catchy and solid so I listen to it. I've seen the majority of her movies and they're for the most part, mediocre except for the Lizzie McGuire Movie and The Perfect Man.
She isn't (or wasn't?) turning into the attention whore that most pop stars do when they hit a certain age. They turn to their gender (dress sexy, etc) to appeal to people. I'm not really a fan of that but it makes money and that's what people are in it for.
I just like her, what else can I say.

Ok, I get that. I'm guessing you're kinda young-ish as well? (I'm not assuming your 12 or anything, but I'm also guessing you aren't 30.)
I do think, though, that when you say "Image before music", it totally proves my point that she is an entertainer and not a musician.
Please, I'm only trying to stress the difference between the two.
