The Comateens (funk, punk, genre, American, French)

I found nothing about The Comateens here.
They have been at the top on French charts in the early 80's.
It was fresh and new.

I thought they didn't sound very French, you can't go wrong with a bit of funky synth-disco (?). Sorry, I'm having a bad day with genres.

I think you need to start an educational French music thread ikvat, I've had this on pretty much every day since I got it and would like to learn alot more. It could have everything from Édith Piaf to Georges Brassens to Métal Urbain (a 1977 punk band exploiting synthesizers?!)
