Some of mine.
You don't have to understand Gaelic to appreciate the beauty of her voice.

Stunning. I am always entranced by her voice and I feel like I have been transported back to people sitting around a fire and living nomadic lifestyles.

There has been a multitude of remixes of this song and I heard a mix over 10 years ago that I loved and it has finally shown up I love the fact that she never has to result to vocal histrionics to maintain the songs atmosphere.

I adore Tracy Watt's delivery. She hasnt got a dynamic voice at all but she has that melancholic delivery down to a tee. She has much more dynamically in her locker but the lyrics dictate that she almost seems like she is talking to you and not singing.

I will point out that I am cheating here and posting some of my fave performances and not necessarily the BEST vocalists out there and I have omitted the likes of Billie Holliday, Kate Bush, Patti Smith etc
