I still don't think Gaga makes music that matches her image in eccentricity.

She's a good pianist so if she really wants to weird people out, she should join a prog band. Though if she was performing alongside guys with medieval hats and giant codpieces she wouldn't stand out as much.

I joke. She's too fucking popular. I don't understand why she's liked by people like Iggy and Ozzy.. she makes okay pop songs. Nothing more, nothing less.

She used to be in a band before she was 'famous' called the Stephanie Germanotta band... it wasn't prog, it was kinda Fiona Apple-esque but darker and with more edge.

Lady Gaga writes average songs. I would expect more complexity from her as she is also a classically trained pianist.

However, judging from interviews, I think she's more focused on entertaining, with her designs and whatnot and making her concerts visually and artistically appealing, rather than actually focusing on making her music good.
