Hmm yeah maybe thats a little harshly put but hes not the only one with that opinion of Gaga really. I mean, the way that reads to me is that he thinks shes talented but her look, her attire and her actions can be a little too much to take.

Jerry should have invited Lady GaGa up on to the show and pitted her against the people who had originally paid for the seats she stole.

Also, I agree with you that Lady Gaga sometimes isn't "ladylike" according to typical definitions. But that's part of what I like about her: she sometimes just seems to present herself however she wishes...though conversely most of what she does seems to be calculated to have a specific effect.

Here's what Jerry said about her:

Harsh!

In the same article are some nice quotes of Lady Gaga, which make her quite endearing, I feel. She takes her performing very seriously:

She won't even drink water onstage so as not to distract her fans from the fantasy of the music! That's dedication.
This is admirable.

I think you guys expect too much from her though. In the sense that you expect her to act lady like, to coincide with every other pop tart like Katy Perry for instance. I don't know if anyone noticed, but she is being herself! Yeah she flipped off paparazzi, yeah she doesn't wear **** all clothes. Who gives a damn. I'd rather her personality come through than some bull**** recording company making her a clone like Floptina and Britney Spears.

Who said that guys expect her to be ladylike? And more importantly who calls Katy Perry ladylike?

I'm not sure what you expect of her, but it's not what she is now. And I mean guys as in "everyone".

Ah ok i thought you meant guys as in men in general. Im not referring to the Jerry Seinfeld comment here because i dont know how he meant that obviously but if i was to say that someone wasnt ladylike, it wouldnt be an insult or suggest that i felt that all women should be this way. It would just be an observation.

And i dont think Katy Perry is ladylike.

I would have to think about it but maybe not. I was just wondering why it was that you think people expect Gaga to be ladylike and why you used Katy Perry as an example of someone whom people consider to be ladylike.

When ive seen Perry be interviewed shes always reminded me of alot of the loud-mouthed chavs i went to school with it. Now, maybe we need a definition of what it is to be ladylike but whatever it is, i wouldnt think its that. In some ways though i can see it, i think i get what you mean.
