lol

I have always thought about that. How I would react to meeting someone that I'm a fan of in real life.

I keep telling myself that I would play it cool and treat them like a regular person but that's probably not going to happen.

Sequence of events:

1) Weird Al writes song.
2) Weird Al claims Gaga declines
3) Weird Al releases song free on internet
4) Gaga blames management, and magically overrites their descision she was too busy building a super artistic fancy hat to even know happened.

Lets face it, I doubt that her management is stupid enough to take in a parody from basically the biggest parody artist in the world, and not even inform her of it. So easy for her to claim "oh, I didn't hear it until you released it for free" as to not look bad in the public light.

Frankly, Weird Al ****ing played her here. Very clearly he released it online because he knew that it'd be bad for her image to decline somebody like him doing a parody of one of her songs. Since she's supposedly quirky, fun loving, and rebellious.

Now, he has the playing field to make the song, and video he wants to. Weird Al is a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. I guarantee you if he didn't release it for free, we'd have never heard it.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

I found my Fame Monster CD today! I was pretty excited. I thought I had lost it forever and ever.

My grandmother, whose musical tastes lie deeply rooted in classic rock with a bit of early, poppier punk (her true loves are The Beatles, The Who, The Ramones, The Beau Brummels, The Clash, The Zombies, Simon & Garfunkel, The Doors, David Bowie, Queen, etc.) and who genuinely abhors everything she's heard from the mainstream since Queen's 1991 album Innuendo has become a Gaga fan.

I thought she was being sarcastic, but apparently my consistenly playing "Alejandro" over and over on guitar while trying to learn it and leaving mix CDs in the car with a Gaga track or two sold her on Gaga.

Can't say I'm displeased.

I feel pretty confident in saying that Lady Gaga is the best pop artist out today.
