Yeh I did, it could be like the middle of the road American pop / rock of Billy Joel from the later 80s onwards. But I don't like that anyway. And most of the record is pop-dance really, but not as good I think as Telephone or Dance in the Dark.

that's why I said "future" meaning I could see her heading in that direction in about 10-15 years or maybe a little sooner if she gets tired/bored with the pop dance stuff.

I know a majority of the album is pop/dance that's why I said her regular fans wouldn't be able to appreciate the last two tracks as much.

If she does I think it would be sooner than 10/15 years. This album as it is will probably satisfy those who wanted more pop-dance, but I was expecting something completely different based on what she had said beforehand about doing something completely new and different.

The album verison of "You and I" is too cheesy. It's too pedestrian with those awfully synths and middle of the road pop/rock production. Her live piano/guitar orientated glam/metal/power ballad fest is the superior version.

"Edge Of Glory" is alright, not that bad. Sort of 80s pop/rock anthem mixed with a showtune.

At the end of the day, "Speechless", the live rendition of "You and I", and "Brown Eyes" own these songs.

When I listened to "Hair", my mood kept changing. I was pissed at how deceptive it was at first because of the chorus, but I liked the style overall. The band-ish feel really fit. I really hope she does more like that, and while I really don't care for the lyrics [hair? really gurlfran], it's catchy and sounds refreshing.

Edge of Glory sounds better live. I would say this album does not exactly help RedOne's reputation.

Maybe Gaga should do a live album of songs.
