To me she's just another pop musician.. with eccentric clothes. Or as Conan O'Brien put it "stuff from the dumpster behind NASA". Imogen Heap has weird taste in fashion as well except I like her music more.

Imogen Heap is a completely different ballfield, I think.
Lady Gaga is playing against everyone on MTV.
Which- I know isn't important to a lot of people on here, but that side of music is pretty competitive, I'm sure.
And if she's that popular, then she must be doing something right.

I, for one, don't think she's "another" anything. I think she's a unique person playing generic music. But she's writing it herself, making her clothes, and in my opinion- her music sounds a little bit different than everyone else.
I don't know what it is about everyone that bothers her so much.
I think she's annoying to watch in interviews.
And I think she's fricken weird.
But other than that, I don't see why people are complaining, or have such a strong opinion against her.

I get that she does some weird things, though, I'm not denying that at all.
