That's a bit out of proportion with what happened here. This is only really comparable if GaGa set up stage and started blaring pop music in the stadium. From what I read, all she did was walk in, wearing that kooky ass outfit.

Her outfits were a factor, but not necessarily the sole cause of her commercial success. If I recall correctly, her outfits were significantly tamer when her first two singles topped the charts, and she had a more 70s disco-ish air about her. She has since travelled a monstrous path.

That's right, when she first started to receive radio play, I thought her fashion was fresh and interesting. As she got more famous, I find a lot of what she wears to be a little ridiculous and sometimes tacky. But I still adore her.

I think I'm the first person to have pointed this out, but what if she was high? She got really, really high, put on a bra, and went to a baseball game. Shit happens.
