Default Taylor Swift

I would like to know what people think of Taylor Swift. She's incredibly talented in my opinion and although mainstream there is still a strong country background to her music. I think she is a good role model for young people today.

my friends roll their eyes at me for this,.....but personally, i love her,...

i think she's charming, i like that she writes her own stuff, and she just seems incredibly normal,....

i also like that my young cousins now want to pic up a guitar instead of a barbie doll

Gotta give her props for writing her own stuff...I personally don't care for her music though. Granted, I haven't heard anything beyond what they play on the radio.

Taylor Swift is very talented indeed, she write such good melodies. Country isn't my favorite type of music but her songs even though very young and childish have this beauty to them. I also like the fact that she writes her own songs and guitar work. It also doesn't hurt that I want to make her my husbands second wife.. that's right I would totally do her too.

I wouldn't say she is terrible, overrated to the extreme though. She is definitely not as good as what everybody brags her up to be. Just because she is cute and she can play guitar, she is shoved in everybody's faces. and in turn everyone thinks they should love her because everybody else is listening to her because we have gotten so used to mediokre crap on the radio. I'm just upset that America has lowered its standards so much as to who is "good" in the music industry. I really cant believe some of the people getting grammys these days. You know Its gotten out of hand when Amy Winehouse, a complete no talent, wins a grammy.

In short, all of you people who like Taylor Swift will not like her in 5 years because you will not remember her because there will be some new little ding dong blonde singer on the radio.

Amy Winehouse a complete no talent??? Taylor Swift a "little ding dong blonde singer"??

Can't say I agree with you on either of those points. Both of these singers might be overrated as you say, but to claim they are both talentless is just wrong.
