Just long enough for the advance ticket sales to accrue the desired amount of interest before total cancellation.

Yeah, the guy is just plain awesome, no matter what they say in the news. He can bust a move like no other...

Didn't you agree with me when I saw you kicking dirt in my eye?

I noticed this is always like this - if you're a famous person there are those people who love you and those who hate. As for me, Michael earned at least regard by all his long work at the stage. (mind: i am not his fan)

Whatsitoosit 06-04-2009 09:07 AM

Well in Michael's case there are those who love, those who used to love but now just listen to the old stuff and wonder WTF happened?, those who appreciate his role in music history but, again, wonder WTF happened? and those who hate. Michael is far too complex for a simple love/hate relationship.

Not to mention there are loads of people like myself who have always liked him to a certain extent but were never huge fans.

AshleighJane 06-04-2009 01:59 PM

is it bad if i had a dream i got married to him and like at our wedding his nose fell off?

Whatsitoosit 06-04-2009 02:55 PM

no, it would be bad if you actually got married to him and hilarious if his nose fell off. Especially if it happened during the cake cutting and the nose landed on top of it.

Flower Child 06-04-2009 04:45 PM

I think Michael Jackson is a complete freak show and I would never take my kid to Neverland Ranch, but the guy can dance and I do enjoy Billie Jean.

Whatsitoosit 06-05-2009 08:04 AM

for a signed copy of Thriller I would consider letting Michael touch my child's butt (pants still on of course).

Jesus christ. (I have a signed copy, can I touch.)

Whatsitoosit 06-05-2009 08:55 AM

I knew you were kidding, you know how hard it is to get a signed copy of thriller.

Oops. I better stop using mine as a placemat.

Whatsitoosit 06-05-2009 10:17 AM

who's bad.

scottsy 06-09-2009 10:26 PM

really, really bad...

stevegld 06-19-2009 12:59 PM

Sad If only he decided to stay black:afro: and not use it when it was most convenient.

Whatsitoosit 06-22-2009 09:50 AM

Too bad Michale didn't whitened one side of his face and leave the other black. He would be a walking yin yang or black n white cookie. I would have nothing but respect for him had he done this and I believe this would have sent him straight to martyr status.

Kool_Dude_HaMeR 06-22-2009 09:59 AM

...and he would so be playing twoface in any batman film.

Whatsitoosit 06-22-2009 10:49 AM

yeah, just an added bonus to a much greater act!

no comment.

Whatsitoosit 06-23-2009 09:44 AM

I wonder why he needed to ask "Annie are you ok"? what did Michael do to Annie? that sick freak!!!

Engine 06-25-2009 03:54 PM

R.I.P.
Time to dust off Thriller.

Whatsitoosit 06-25-2009 04:03 PM

Well, it's been a downward spiral since the late 80's... I'm not very surprised. He was addicted to pain killers from what I recall, that and this comeback probably put a strain on his heart.

R.I.P. Michael.

Yeah show some respect. Those jokes(baby dangler etc) are so old now anyway.

sidewinder 06-25-2009 05:39 PM

RIP Michael Jackson. You may have turned into a weirdo and put out some less-than-listenable material at some point, but you were undoubtedly a pop icon and put out some true classics in your prime. Your music was among the first I remember liking as a child.

Whatsitoosit 06-25-2009 07:58 PM

Yes, today we honor the legend of Michael Jackson and put aside the negative aspects of his life. I am numb today as this must be what it was like when Elvis and Lennon died, maybe worse.

Don't forget Cash. I didn't go to school that day. I went to my grandpa's and we picked cash tunes all day and drank ourselves to sleep.

JKSmith 06-25-2009 08:01 PM

Oh my God! He's dead! Waaahaaah! :(

I was too young at the time of his death but say, if it was now, I would probably kill myself. Johnny Cash is the legend of all legends.
Also what age are you? I always had this idea you were in your 40s or something lol...

Whatsitoosit 06-25-2009 08:15 PM

I wasn't a huge Cash fan, I just mean the global impact this is having. I don't remember Cash having that big an impact.

Thats because Michael Jackson made Pop music, and Cash made gritty Country music which isnt for everyone. Two totally different artists that are incomparable to each other.

FaSho 06-25-2009 09:00 PM

R.I.P. Michael, I just downloaded his greatest hits last week...I'll definatley be listening to it again tonight.
