Yep, that's the first thing my wife said when she watched the Letterman vid. The fact that she is clearly about the music and not out there slutting it up even though she is so hot she easily could. I have to act like I'm not crazy in love when I play my wife those videos.

Most definitely and she is REALLY intelligent too. Have you seen her interviews? She is soo mature for her age.

This is one of my favorites from her "Electric Lady" album

I think she is trying to channel Little MJ vocally here. It reminds me of a Jackson 5 song, I love it!

Janelle also performed the song on American Idol in March



I LOVED this performance. She is sooo underrated. She is a great performer. SOOOO happy I am seeing her live this summer!

I SAW JANELLE MONAE LAST SATURDAY AND SHE WAS FANTASTIC.

She is so beautiful in person and a great entertainer.

Unfornately I was unable to take photos because I am soo short and it was outside standing venue and crowded... ugh.

Yeah I was just chilling on the lawn with my friend when she was performing last Friday so I didn't get any good pics of her. I have a pic of the stage but meh it was before she came out.

She also came out while Outkast was performing to dance during the dance break of "Hey Ya".

I was super close to the stage for Outkast but was too into the performance to really take pics of her.

Wow, Outkast was there to!?

I bet that was a great show

I will not do a standing only venue again. I like the outside venues where you have to be seated on the lawn. I could barely see anything, it was crazy.
