I noticed there wasn't a thread on her, so I decided to make one. I used enjoy her music back when she came up with Waiting for tonight, but haven't heard much since then. She's coming up with a new album this year, so what's your opinion? Are you looking forward to it, or are you going to keep away from it?

I don't really like her new material that has cropped up in the past few years but here are a few of them since you haven't heard much.





I like her jenny from the block days and of course waiting for tonight.

She has a great butt, but that's all i really like about her. haha.

I really don't like On The Floor. Typical party stuff, but not done well at all. And she's ripping off this song, I don't remember its name but its a pretty good song.

Jennifer isn't my type of artist. She's great at showing her body off to suit the satisfactions of males and make money but there isn't really any musical talent involved in what she does.

I liked her in some of her films but musicly not so much. Smokin hot though!!

Can't believe such a poor song has got number one. Sums up the charts at the moment. Doesn't take a lot and being number one isn't the same as it used to be.

Which was the point I was making in the Rihanna thread, when you decided that success equalled talent. So by the same logic, J-Lo is currently the most talented artist in the world.

Erm... no, I just like Rihanna and don't like J-Lo. I do like some of the artists in the charts but the large majority of the artists are rubbish and I've not even heard of a lot of them.

I'm really liking her album but I wished she would have had more dance tracks or did the album completely as a dance album.

Her manager definitely told her to get with the times and make a dance album with some electro influence.

She just loves some ballads so there are a few of those thrown in but overall I liked it.

I think she's a much better actress than songstress. :/

She is looking and sounding absolutely magnificent in her new song with Lil Wayne. Talk about outstaging Cheryl Cole.

She still has a great ass, and I like her on the floor song, very catchy and easy to dance to.

thx, somehow I knew Pitbull was involved in the making, hes co-written some pretty mean songs like DJ Got us falling in love etc.

Her new song "On the floor" is doing really good. Interesting to see where she goes from there...

I have to say, I'm embarrassed about her new song. It feels like she's too old for that, like she should have outgrown that **** a long time ago. It's almost like when you're mom says someone is "The Bomb" because she thinks she's "with the times."

I think Jennifer Lopez is a poor man's version of Beyonce.
And more shame that the latter came after the former.

She can dance, act and her singing is a bit debatable but that's okay because she's better at acting.

Beyonce on the other hand can't act her way out of a closet. She needs to stay the hell away from movies or practice.

I'd like to see them have a dance off though and see which one would win. They are both pretty damn good dancers.

Jlo is more of a salsa dancer, something the likes of ballroom, cha-cha, jazz, etc. she reminds me of hawaiian dancing.
Beyonce on the other hand is more of a stripper dancer. more on butt-shaking and chest-bumping. anything that denotes sexy.

technically speaking, Jlo may have more moves in terms of pure dancing skills.
But we all know in these modern times, sexy dancing is more popular so Beyonce may get more attention.

You also forget JLo was heavily into hip hop style dancing as well.

First of all, Jlo started out as a dancer, not a singer, the singing came later.
Second of all how is Beyonce being compared to Jlo at all? They're not even within the same genre of music. If you want to classify them both as pop, even, they can't be compared.
Jlo is KNOWN for her dancing, she became famous because of her dancing.

Also, Beyonce can act.
Also, get your facts straight.

Jlo's hip hop dancing though is kind of stiff.
She excels more on classical dances.

ugh, however she dances everyones eyes are always on that 1 spot tho so..
