I wouldn't consider myself a "grunge" fan. I barely recognize it as a genre. It's just that I tend to really love a couple of bands from that time and movement. Alice in Chains and Nirvana are always gonna hold a place in my heart.

That said, regarding the argument earlier in this thread, since when did music taste become objective, eh?
