i did, and i agree with you, most Pop artist today use that electronic sound in their songs..

it's either that or a more folksy accoustic sound, they tend to use mostly those 2

if you compare old pop stars with new ones, today's pop stars have a sound that's influenced by popular trends and since electronic music is the preferred genre for clubs Pop artists are adapting to that..

Even rap has become like party music (I blame the Black eyed peas)
Now almost every song is on that Auto Tune **** and there is alot of sound effects in songs..

seriously, listen to those electro pop hits, there's alot of ear catching spacey effects (idk how to explain it)

Those effects become part of the song arrangements part of the very structure for a pop hit formula.

Yeah true. The instruments used in rap are often electronic as well, but rap doesnt sound like electronic music at all. Though there are rap artists that often combine that with it.

If the argument here is that pop is now utilizing more electronic instruments and methods than it used to, then yes. End thread.

If the argument here is that pop is somehow becoming the overall genre of EDM, which encompasses a lot of other subgenres, then no. End thread.

This one is correct. I dont know about EDM though. Actually I have no idea what that is. And what do you mean by End thread? If you want to lock the thread, go ahead man.

End thread, or /thread is a common internet forum expression that is used to say that the point has been sufficiently covered and requires no further discussion. It's mostly a symbolic usage now days, rather than a functional one. Glad I could help with that.

As far as EDM, I will simply ask you to google it. Because I'm half thinking you're really not as ignorant as you make yourself out to be, so I'm only going to answer half of your reply.
