My vote is Madonna for prolificity and originality.

I'm not that familiar with GaGa, it seems like she has been kinda dormant these days, and out of the lime light for the last year or so. I'd prefer listening to Cortney Love anyway verses listening to very much of GaGa music. I noticed GaGa herself, tries to imitate Madonnas vocals on a few of her songs.

I'll pick Madonna all the way, as far as personal preference goes.

Where are your manners? She is a Lady and she should be addressed that way. :rolleyes: and a little fyi she goes by "Lady Gaga" not GaGa.

What I would really like to see is an Adele vs Mama Cass thread.

Yes, Adele would be the winner of that one for sure (I mean "Miss" Adele) I just recently heard Rolling In The Deep for the first time. Wow... what a voice.

Lady Gaga for sure. She may be dormant because of her hip injury but will be back in force by September to release her album ARTPOP.

I once heard the comment that the only reason Lady Gaga has so many awards?

Yeah I am not a fan, but to say she's a man is just plain mean and stupid. Madonna's more masculine than she is...

I love Madonna, and I think her albums could have more staying power than Lady Gaga's. Madonna is really timeless and was often ahead of her time in ways. I feel the same about Janet Jackson.

It is still too early to say that Lady Gaga's albums won't have staying power but anyways I voted for her because I've enjoyed her output so far and looking forward to what else she has to offer.

She's more versatile than people give her credit for.

I think she's down in Mexico at one of her childhood friend's weddings or was recently but yeah she's doing personal life stuff atm.

Over the course of their entire careers: Madonna, by far. Though Lady Gaga has more musical talent.
