"Chasing Pavements" was utterly boring and instantly forgettable, hence the need to play it 50 times in an 8-hour shift, effectively carving it into the cranial matter of anyone unfortunate enough to be within earshot, and "Rumor Has It" was the most atrocious ear sodomy I'd experienced in the last decade.

The fact that this wretched woman has achieved such a preposterous level of fame and wealth is staggering, and speaks volumes of the barrel-scraping cultural low that the masses have sunk to.

Please die in a fire, Adelle. Thanks.

Thank you for keeping with the sodomy theme.

What is the point that roscoe is trying to make other than that Adele is popular?

She's popular.

His focus seems to be the amount of YouTube views and how fast they've been generated, and continue to do so. He seeks to point out how anomalous this occurrence is for what he believes to be a substandard musician.

So in answer to his query:

1) A promotional juggernaut. Lots of people hear it on the radio and then seek it out on YouTube. "People" in this instance would include consumers, promoters, businesses, radio DJs and so on.

2) The real possibility that there really are that many people who identify with and/or like the song and seek out the video on YouTube. Naturalism.

3) The viral effect: More YouTube views = more trending activity, which means higher positions on YouTube's recommendation pages.

TFW you're about to mock somebody's grammar, and then you realize they were actually mocking your grammar. Feels bad, man.

But TFW you realize the mistake you're about to make before you make it and look marginally less stupid for holding back. Still feels bad, man.

Her voice isn't bad but she's about as edgy as a beach ball.

This is the thing about her voice...

She sings well. But she's so damn boring. Anyone notice how she almost sings the same way in every song? I just don't hear a lot of variety.

She's boring. All there is to her.
