Is it ok with you if I like it even if you don’t?

I bought the EP and the album.
The EP isn't as good as the album, it's like 6/10 on first listen. Above average, some good tracks and some skippable ones. The album is a massive step up imo. I've got NFR too so I'll listen to that and post on the Lana thread. |

This is the first time I felt old because listening to her stuff, I find almost nothing that resonates. I've tried 3 songs I think and it's fine, I don't don't understand the acclaim. Having said that I'm generally underwhelmed by most things in music today.

It is very hit or miss for me when it comes to her music. I adore some of her songs, and others I really am not a fan of. I think she is a phenomenal artist, though.
'Ocean Eyes' is a current favorite of mine. It's just so chill, and...ugh, I love it so much. |

I have a hard time believing that Bille's music is particularly ground-breaking (fr, sad and dour sounding music has been a charts staple since the mid-2010s) but I think she's a good artist with a distinct presence within the pop scene. Albeit I'm more fond of her brother's production work than her vocals or lyrics, but they still work together well. Her latest album had some good pop hits on it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the good production in "everything i wanted"
