"Someday" 90s or 2000s female pop love song with trumpet

I just keep hearing this at work all day and it drives me nuts. Female vocalist, there's a trombone or trumpet, and a steady beat. I just can't make out the lyrics except Someday and Love. It's like "someday (one day?) As I recall" and "and love will do what we want it to". It's a sassy, jazzy, love song with a singer to match.
