100 might have been a slight exageration :D. But I do believe that Amp is better than Frances, just seems more solid to me.

I like the new one. They're by far not my favorite band but what they release is so damn solid that they're always worth the listen.

Laces Out Dan! 09-15-2006 10:33 PM

You betcha, but the different between you and I is...they are my favourite band :)

Vermicide is my favorite track.

The Dave 09-16-2006 11:39 PM

Mine is Viscera Eyes, that's a great song.

Laces Out Dan! 09-17-2006 03:06 PM

The intro for Day Of The Baphomets is amazing. And Ceddy's range in Mecca is impressive

Great Band!

Raine 03-17-2007 12:25 PM

I prefer deloused over frances the mute.

The only really good song off frances the mute is probably the widow.

Inuzuka Skysword 03-17-2007 12:34 PM

The Mars Volta are a great band!

Raine 03-17-2007 12:39 PM

A few years agot here was this rumor that Omar rodriguez was going solo.
but to my knowledge no album ever sprang up with his name on it.

Laces Out Dan! 03-17-2007 12:42 PM

you're pretty dumb...Omar has done a lot of solo stuff. A Manuel Dexterity Volume 1...he has a self titled album..Se Dice Bisonte, No Bufalo comes out May 29th...and A Manual Dexterity Volume 2 comes out this year as well.

I knew he had previous solo ventures.
I just thought he stopped.
I saw a poster a few months ago before tower went out of business advertising a new album due out in march.

But thanks for the heads up.
