However, I don't know that there's been any confirmation from Omar that he is on board with the break-up.
Thanks for letting me know, it just is really disappointing that Omar won't play ball for the fans. I really would have loved to have seen them live.

I don't mind the style so much, in a way it's refreshing to see him not wanking. I just can't appreciate that singer.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Best Mars Volta record? It's a tie between Frances The Mute and De-loused in the Comatorium. Both records seem way ahead of it's time, in terms of prog.

I quite liked Octahedron. Although it's been so long since I listened to The Mars Volta, definitely preferred At The Drive-In

Octahedron is underrated IMO. Certainly not my favorite, but considering I've played the others so much and I'm getting old, maybe it's the one I'm most likely to reach for.

De-Loused in the Comatorium is still what I consider their best work.

Relationship of Command will forever remain my second favorite record, but The Mars Volta has made 2 groundbreaking epic records and three really solid ones. Their last album I thought was shit. They all stopped doing heroin and cleaned up, so their creativity completely left.

At The Drive-In makes me feel so old! I used to play that record all the time. I just put them back on my iPod because they are the shiz.
