You can get stoned to almost anything. On the contrary, PF is very trippy.

It's Pink Floyd all the way for me. I've started to get into Dream Theater now (in the last two or three years) more than I ever did before, but Floyd's work is just too powerful.

i remember since i was in high school,it was cool to be a dt fan. I had a few cds, a shirt which i usually wore at school, and i always talked about how ignorant was anybody who didn't knew a change of seasons, metropolis,a scene from a memory and etc.i even went to a concert to see them in toronto when i was there on holiday and i felt i was complete...now i can even listen to a single song of theirs...they are just showing off...and the truth is they always did.come on,who needs 4 minute guitar or drum solos?!?!?!?yes, they are a few of the most talented musicians out there, but they lack essence.
as for Pink Floyd...i don't know...right now i feel they are if not the best, they are definitely one of the best bands ever, who captured their time and era perfectly.they produced few of the greatest recordings ever and they influenced fans and musicians for 40 years.
so yeah, i voted pink floyd

Thats no contest. It's like comparing a fine, tender, "melt-in-your-mouth" steak to Mickey D's ground beef. No competition.

Now I'm hungry, dammit...
