ELO are utterly fantastic. There's something about their music that invariably makes me feel better, regardless of how good I already felt that day.

I recently heard Diary Of Horace The Wimp at work and forgot how great E.L.O were. They probably are the very definition of dad rock but that doesn't detract from the fact that Jeff Lynne is a decent producer and musician.
