My 6th grade reading teacher spent a day co-playing the movie and album for us.
I'll admit there were certain elements that were insync with each other, but not enough to make this myth very creditable.

I bet if I watched it I'd find so many flaws it would be hilarious, if it weren't so sad.

Jalen wakey wakey. Have you ever tried playing DSOTM with the movie, that does work pretty well.

The rest of what was said though, i have heard in other places to but is not true.

She was joking. That was the point. And yet you reply "sounds like a lot of BS to me". It was supposed to be BS. It's all BS, including the idea that Pink Floyd synched DSOTM with the Wizard of Oz. That was the point. Lighten up, dude.

No dude, watch a video, they have em on the tube, it syncs up VERY well.

Theres obviously nothing to this, of course its just a coincidence, but its a really cool one.

I can't believe that only one person got my meaning.

Oh well.

Wait till I tell my Tom Petty story. Boy, that's going to generate PAGES of responses!

Put on any energetic metal with a muted horror film and it fits. Potheads are so radical man.

Can't wait to hear about Tom Petty.

If anyone was being considered a genius for this it would have to be Waters, considering he wrote basically the entire album.

Its deffinately better if you do it at home, and play the album right when the mgm lion roars at the beginning. its alot cooler than the youtube ones

I paired Wish You Were Here with an M.C. Escher Documentary and the results were easily 10X as convincing as any experience Iv'e had with 'Dark Side of Oz', which i've always come away from watching with the distinct impression that the person trying to convince me of its magical coincidence really, really, really simply smokes way too much weed and has entirely too much free time on his hands.
