Default Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship...etc

I loved when they were Jefferson Airplane. Particularly because I'm just a big fan of the Woodstock-era. Plus I like how they sounded then as well of course, as oposed to JS, and the stuff they did as just plain Starship, and all other renditions of the original name ha (though not to say I completely hate Starship stuff. My mom actually prefers the JS stuff). Surrealistic Pillow is the best from Airplane I do think. Including the infamous White Rabbit<3 (yes, I upped that on the compilation ), Somebody to Love, 3/5 of a Mile in 10 Seconds, and She Has Funny cars - among other of course but those are my favorite. I really love them and have been a bit obsessed lately, with Miss Slick as well actually... Anyone else?

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

What's with all the one line thread starters, man? If it's something you love (or at least like), surely you could put a little more effort in, right? Anyhow, I've been a big fan of Jefferson Airplane for years. They come from my favorite decade-and-a-half of music ('63-'78). I've been listening to their "Crown of Creation" album quite a bit lately. On the whole, I never go too long a period without indulging in their psychedelic magnificence.

Post whores. "It's the amount that counts"

It's common on most forums. People like that number below their name to be high but they don't really have anything to contribute. At least he didn't do it to get his 15 post link access quota.

As for Jefferson Airplane, I like a little of their stuff but not really sure where most of the praise they got came from. Especially considering the other acts around during their time.
