Although I'm way into older stuff, I ran into this awesome band called Blockhead. Try the song 'The Music Scene' and the video is also pretty neat!

Blockhead's just one producer, but ja he is pretty awesome. His work with Aesop Rock and Billy Woods is off the charts.

I dig Rush and some Yes, but King Crimson's Larks' Tongue in Aspic calls to me probably more than any prog album I've heard yet, and I'd like some avant prog recs.
