Cool. I'll add you to the list again, then?

I've just added it to the index in the OP. #5.

Sorry guys I'm going to have to bow out. This is getting too frenetic; you're already up to album 5 and I haven't even listened to album 4! I've so much else to do, as you know, and this is getting like work being piled on my desk, which is not a nice feeling. Add to that the fact that, sadly, I really haven't liked much of the music I've heard here, and there's little point in continuing if that's the case.

I joined to help PS get the club started and hoped it would take off. Now that it has, I think it's time for me to step back and concentrate on stuff I need, and want, to do, without having to worry about keeping other people's deadlines.

Sorry but it just isn't working for me. The club is fine, it's just not really something I'm interested enough in to devote the necessary time to, and I don't want to be a sometime member who only gets involved every sixth album or whatever. I'd rather make a clean break now than overload my already heavy work schedule.

Hope you understand and sorry; I tried but it really ain't for me.

Best of luck with it!
See ya around.
TH

It's cool. We don't want you to have to take another sabbatical.

So Frownland and Briks have voiced the idea of making this a bi-weekly discussion. I'm in favour - reviews have been getting thinner and thinner, and I personally haven't been able to give each album my customary three listens before posting a review. What does everyone think?

Go ahead and give it a try, but I have a feeling that stretching it out an extra week won't make any difference in the amount of reviews that the members bother to write. I hope I'm wrong.

…and it looks like you were right. Before I post the next album, would it result in more interest if we went the route of Wpnfire's electronica album club and had some set questions?

Every two weeks, a member chooses a psychedelic album for us to listen to. We all review it and discuss it. Check out some of the discussions linked to in the OP for examples.
