Default discovering ty segall

It's been awhile since I've listened to more recent music. Being a psych garage head from way back I had heard some Ty Segall when playing around on YouTube. Needless to say I think he rocks. What do you guys think?

a little inconsistent but that’s bound to happen with how prolific he is. he has made some great ****ing music though and i firmly believe his last three releases are amongst his finest yet.

I've skimmed over several of Segall's albums. Right now I'm going with Sleeper as my favorite right now. It seems a little more serious than his other works. Wiki said it was influenced by his father's cancer. Anyway, it's a beautiful piece of work. I'm going to listen to this album all the way through.

I am aware of them. I'll have to get a better listen of them when I get a chance.

I don't really like Ty Segall that much, but if you're into him check out King Gizzard and the lizard Wizard. Specifically their album Flying Microtonal Banana. They're like Ty but i think much better.

they’re better in variety but when it comes to making straight up garage rock they can’t touch him.
