I love meddle. San Tropez is a great song, and Echoes is just a PF classic. I also love One of these days, its so floydish, the bass line and everything, they were the master of effects, I mean this is like 35 year old technology and it kicks ass over modern prog. IMO. Long live the floyd!!!

Have a Cigar is one of my favorite songs by Floyd that hardly ever gets air time. I think i've heard it...maybe once in the past four months. I love the opening bass to that song. every time i hear it...i dunno something happens it's just awesome. Also Us and Them. i love the lyrics in that song. it gets more air time than cigar, but it's still overshadowed by other songs on Dark Side like Time, Money, Brain Damage. oh, and One of My Turns on the Wall. i like that song. don't really know why. probly the lyrics, they're interesting lyrics.

yeah have a cigar is great, and plus its got roy harper us and them is beautiful, i love richard wright on the piano, also great gig too. But i think were supposed to discuss their lesser known/less popular stuff. One of my All time favorit floyd tracks is green is the color off of more. I love gilmours high pitched vocals, he must have had his balls in a vice for that one. I love gilmour. Also on the turning away is growing on me lately, the solo is spectacular I'm begginning to prefer it over the solo in comf. numb.

i prefer water's voice to gilmours, and gilmours guitar playing is less than respectable. lets wail on the major scale for 45 minutes. thbbbt.

who cares what scales he plays on, if it sounds good. Is a guitarists job to play only the most technical solos as possible, last I knew his job was to sound good, and gilmour does just that remarkably.

I like them.

Not all the albums, but most of them.

I can't wait until the Pulse dvd is released. It's driving me nuts. For months they said that December 8th was the official release date, and then they went and changed it to sometime in Jan-Feb.

Here are my favorite Floyd albums...(I know, this is completely random)

1. Wish You Were Here
2. Dark Side of the Moon
3. Meddle
4. Piper at the Gates of Dawn
5. The Wall
6. Animals
7. Atom Heart Mother
8. The Divison Bell
9. The Final Cut
10. Obscurred By Clouds
11. Saucerful of Secrets
12. Momentary Lapse of Reason

Also, if anyone here is a fan of Barrett era Floyd, you would be wise to pick up The Madcap Laughs if you don't already have it. It's a wonderful album, and though it's mostly just Barrett singing to an acoustic guitar, it still has a rather psychedelic feel to it.

Edit: Man do I feel bad, I left Atom Heart Mother off of my list somehow. Fix'd.

pretty much everything from 67-72 is disgustingly underrated

the wall is way overrated but still good

the final cut is another grossly underrated album

a momentary lapse of reason is kind of ****

the division bell is a good latter floyd album

animals is my favorite of theirs.

Agreed. Especially Atom Heart Mother.

I wouldn't say overrated, it's just better known because Another Brick In the Wall Pt. 2 gets so much radio play. That's the only Floyd song a lot of people know.

Agreed. A great album lyrically imo.

I wouldn't call it shit, I think it's a decent album. It's not up to normal Floyd standards, but it has its moments. Sorrrow is one of my favorite post-Waters tunes.

Animals is a good album. When I first got it I didn't listen to anything else for about a month.
