Agreed. Smaller venue= better sound overall

I like a lot of their pre-Dark Side stuff too, even though they play a lot of the same stuff over and over. I guess that that's a given, but you wouldn't believe the ungodly amount of "Green is the Colour" and "Atom Heart Mother"s that I have. >.>

Default Pink Floyd Reunion

I need help from the Pink Floyd fans!! Like many others out there I never had the chance to see Pink Floyd play in concert. I often read or hear about rumors that they might be getting back together but it always ends up not being true.

I know that since Richard Right passed away a few years ago we will never get to see the the full Pink Floyd band play again but I still think that it would be awesome to see David Gilmour and Roger Waters play together for at least one final big show.

So I had the idea of creating a Facebook fan page and hopefully get a crap load of people to like it and maybe it would make them realize how many people would like to see them one last time. It might not work but what do we have to loose?

Here's the link to the fan page and hope you all agree with me and help out!

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

You might want to go and see Waters Live.
It's really a very good experience. With a guitar player like Snowy White next to him, you can't go wrong

The closest experience I ever got to a Pink Floyd show was a laser show here in Seattle. It wasn't bad. They had us lying on the ground staring up and it was magical.

Roger Waters is reuniting with Gilmour for one show during "The Wall" tour, Roger commented "...but it might not be the end of the story, but the beginning..." This doesn't guarantee anything, but one can only hope for the best. If I saw Gilmour, Rogers, and Mason reunite and tour together one last time and if I got to see them, I wouldn't care if I was hit by a car after the show because I would die the happiest I'd ever be in my life. I'm with you man, it's my dream to see this band live.

...but seeing the million people all wanting a reunion is a little bit more impacting, but not an easy task.

This could very well be the last time that David, Nick, and Roger share the stage. It's a real shame to retire such an amazing live performance. Gilmour let everyone know that this was only a one time thing, and a tour is out of question. Crushes my soul yes, but what can you do.

Well, here are some fan videos of the performance of Comfortably Numb and a special rendition of Outside the Wall with Nick Mason and the rest of Water's band. You could tell that Waters couldn't wait to get to the chorus, must have been so much built up excitement. Waters stumbles on the second verse, but doesn't take off the value of the performance.
Maybe he might want to redo it...

RIP Richard Wright & Syd Barrett

I never "got" the love for Dark Side, seeing as everything before and after are vastly superior.

I do like The Wall, though and think The Final Cut is pretty underrated.
