Default Obscure albums/artists on Spotify.

Do yall remember? The dark dark days when I was last here, we were slinging megaupload and mediafire links to and fro. Certain that there was no other way to get the music heard. A few days ago I really wanted to listen to The Hermit by Mountain Ash Band again, and despite it not being there the last time I checked. It sure as hell is now, and with a whopping 16 monthly listeners and so few plays that none of the songs even have play counts:

https://open.spotify.com/artist/6RKasrkVGYTq1g7fsgjM4Pe

Less obscure but Leaf Hound is here too:
https://open.spotify.com/artist/4rl5EBislX2Uc6nT6rYJIs

Joe Byrd & The Field Hippies:
https://open.spotify.com/artist/50ciOQQOmWB22Bj1OTKtwj

Capability Brown:
https://open.spotify.com/artist/4TKxsN7HIRqMei84qsabxL

Keep them coming, good prog/psych from days gone by now actually available on something other than private trackers and forum PMs

Ugh, it's a bit sad to think about all the little tracks here and there that used to be part of my rotation back when it was me and my mp3 collection that have mostly been left in the dust as I made the move entirely onto streaming platforms.

You mention a couple of them as I certainly remember Leaf Hound and Capability Brown. Atlas I think was another one. Ragnarök? Arthur Brown isn't exactly obscure, but he too fell out of my rotation a long time ago along with a bunch of stuff. The dark-proggy folk band Comus, of course!

I use youtube music which allows me to upload stuff from my collection, but I still haven't really utilized that to the extent I should.

I feel this. I've had so many experiences with Spotify having a given artist but not the specific release I'm looking for.
