no. its not illegal. you just have to have a work permit. which you get from school.

sadly yes, you are to young to get a real job. but you could do other things. like wash peoples cars, mow their lawns. my friend and i started our own car detailing service cuz we wanted some extra cash. the money we made ended up being enough to get me a sweet new guitar
Oh, cool.

I thinking of now asking for money when people ask for computer grahic requests.

12 year olds don't need money.

You are far too young to worry about things like that now. The best advice I can give to you is try everything, and never settle for something that doesn't make you happy. If you are a responsible human being there will always be a job for you, by responsible human being I mean, no unexplained gaps in your resume or the like. Jobs aren't half as hard to find as some people may tell you.

I guess to sum it all up what I am saying is that all of the pieces will fall into place.

But, for God's sakes practice safe sex cuz an unplanned baby could throw a wrench in the works!!!!

Cheers, Nate

madeinNY 12-16-2005 05:05 PM

It's just not material you can by with money...you can also buy love.

HAHA just joking. But seriously, I love materialistic things, I'm shallow.

There's the eight months between telling my old employment I was leaving and starting uni. But I "travelled" in that time, to America and Canada. Yes, that's it. "Travelling". By responsible I hope you don't mean things like enthusiastic.

Hmmmm. The baby thing would probably need the input of a second human, and that ain't a-happening at the moment. :( Believe me, I'd like to practice safe sex. I'd practice so hard I'd get real good at it.

THAT'S FUNNY!!!

8 months of travelling is not a big deal, what I meant is something that would be difficult to explain ie: quitting a job before having another one (career suicide), getting fired etc.

Good luck and quit your worrying, you seem pretty well adjusted and have a good sense of humor. Life should take you to some great places:)

franscar 12-16-2005 05:19 PM

Oh, I didn't get fired, just threatened with a firing AFTER I'd handed my notice in.

GUH??
