On the topic of Jesus was a terrorist, by the Dead Kennedys, Jello made a point when he said..."Today bible-thumping cannibals
Reap money from his name
Buy cable networks & power
With old ladies' checks"
In a way, 'Jesus' started all of this. But I'm an Atheist so what do I know.
But on the topic of good music:::
Misfits (OLD-Danzig)
Social Distortion
Dead Kennedys
Hammers to Fences
The Last Hope
Unseen
Casualties
Undead
Refused
some Samhain and Danzig
Misfits (NEW:Graves)
Ten Foot Pole
i could go on and on...

In my oppinion NOFX aren't really a punk band and are quite frankly ****e. You should be listening to real punk like the buzz****s, the clash and of course the pistols. I'm sick of this american load grunge ****e calling itself punk because its trying to be something that its not.

The Pogues are a very good Irish folk rock band, but they are often lumped into a punk category. Either If I Should Fall From Grace With God or Rum, Sodomy and the Lash would be their best album.

Conflict are an awesome, very political agit-punk band from England. Check out the album The Ungovernable Force.

Crispus Attucks aren't brilliant, but they're a decent hardcore punk band. Named after a black slave who was the first to be shot in a riot in the 1800s, so they're fairly political as well. Recommended album - Red Black Blood Attack.

british punk is not really 'Punk' in my opinion NOTHING is you cant really clasify music as 'punk' it is a lifestyle. i would say everything out now is a spin off, post hardcore, emo, scremo, and what people call 'punk' would be bands like NOFX and Anti Flag in MY opinion.

currently my favourite 'punk'/emo/ska bands are...

Thrice #1
Misfits # 2... you get the picture
Thursday
Anti Flag
Rise Against
NOFX
The Agency (local ska band that kicks ass!)
