help me with this song..... (alternative, rock, member, artist)

im trying to find a song that i heard on the radio so i can download it. but i dont know who the artist is. its like a rock/alternative song. the only part i can remember is "the weekends gone, and i didn't even get laid" and then they go into to the coarse, something about "fly up and get away" i think..... please help me find the artist, i really want to download this song and jam it in my car!! thanks!!
