Default and you will know us by the trail of dead

talk about a little known band. they have four albums out, and nobody knows them. i know thrice does and goddam it, good on him. anybody who hasnt heard them, listen to them. they are one of the best bands i have heard for a long time. they are different, so not everybody will like them, but definately worth listening too

Yeah, Trail of Dead are excellent. I kinda stumbled across them more than anything, they supported the Foo Fighters back in 1999, and they were LOUD. I loved it and went out and bought their first album straight away and followed them ever since. Over here they actually do have quite a decent following, like bands like Mars Volta and At the Drive-In, and Mars Volta even manages to get a few plays on MTV2.

Seems like they were on MTV2 a few times back in like 1999 or so. Good band. Also, "...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead" is one of the coolest names ever.

I think the name might put some people off, expecting them to sound more like Slayer or something.
