It was What Makes a Man Start Fires? , and I did enjoy it, but obviously it will take more than one listen to sink in. Vocals can be a huge deal-breaker for me when I check out a new band, and these were to my liking. So they've got that going for them already. Double Nickels is next, but probably not till I get a bit more familiar with this one.

Minutemen is probably just that kinda band, especially since most of their songs are about a minute long and they switch up style every song. Or Double Nickels is like that.

I love the Minutemen and Mike Watt is one of my biggest influences as a bass player. I also really enjoy his other works like Dos with his ex-wife Kira Roesller of Black Flag and the track he did with Black Moth Super Rainbow called Black Yogurt.
