Go For It and Flags and Emblems are my own personal favourites. One of the bad things about living down in Aus is I dont get to see SLF every year anymore

Default Stiff Little Fingers

At the 2014 Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, Jake Burns of Stiff Little Fingers, thanked fans in the crowd for supporting their recent Pledge Campaign, which 'enabled' the band to produce their new album. He then said the rest of us who didn't financially support the campaign could and I quote, **** off. As a fan of over 35 years standing who has paid thousands of pounds following the band and buying all their albums and singles plus tons of memorabilia though did not buy anything from pledge, I was deeply offended. I emailed the band to tell them so and received a reply from Mr Burns who told me what he said was a joke and I should treat it as so. Well sorry, but I don't think it was funny. love to know what other rock fans think about the situation.

I love their first album, like, a lot, but I don't care all that much for their other material, sadly.

Inflammable Material is fantastic, one of my favourite punk albums and the sound of a young band who had something to be genuinely pissed off about. They released some good material after that but they slowly got less interesting. It also puzzles me how much Jake Burns voice changed over the course of their early albums.

Inflammable Material is one of the best albums EVER. lot's of their other stuff was great to. Just a shame that Jake Burns showed his true self at 2014 Rebellion Festival when insulting SLF fans who hadn't supported their Pledge campaign
