The Casualties
ive decided to make a thread on The Casualties, since no one else did
they need no introduction, if your viewing the punk threads you SHOULD know who the casualties are DISCUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I dont really care for the casualties too much. some of their songs are catchy and tollerable, i just dont think they are doing anything other than regurgitating the same old anthem type punk songs that post card punk bands like themselves have been playing since the early/mid 80s
thats true, but they've got to be doing something right, i mean they've been doing it since 91, and i personally LOVE LOVE LOVE The Casualties
They are kinda like a gateway band to better, more intense punk. the kids eat it up. I doubt they will ever change their style, hell, its worked for similar bands: Exploited, Total Chaos, UK Subs, etc.
Very True and us punx eat up everything said bands put out
Casualties are one of the worst punk bands ever, they lyrics are horrible and musicially they sound like every other band. Can't stand them.
Well ive never heard off em. Guess i will have to go find some and educate myself.

and you wonder why people say punk is dead
thats becaue close minded people who know absolutly nothing about Punk Rock claim to be it and talk **** on the leading bands of the scene
Quote:
if this is a leading band in the scene im going to start to listen to classical because they suck. |
go right ahead, you obviously dont know good music when you hear it
Quote:
you have Thursday as you icon you have no right to talk
Quote:
Whats wrong with Thursday? |
umm okay, do you understand what punk rock is you fuycking anti0violent hippy???? and thursday is nothing more than EMO trash
Quote:
Another thing. Quote:
okay first thing, i never said they were Anti-violent, you said "You listen to the casualties, who are violent, anti-unity" i called oyu an anti-violent hippy, and yes i like Thursdays first cd but everything theyve released since that has been pure crap

i'm sorry but The Casualties will never be as god awful as Rancid and since when has SIDEONEDUMMY been a major????
what can i say, its major. but whatever dud go listen to your horrable music. and rancid is better than the casualties.
Quote:
haha they already are. Rancid can atleast form complete songs with a melody. The Casualties can...try to look pretty |
try to look pretty????? is that all you can come up with, ugh your just like all the rest of theses ignorant *******s bash on a bands image instead of their music,

The Casualties are possibly the ****tiest punk band ever. Four chord songs, ridiculous clothing and a singer who sounds like he's blowing a donkey does NOT make a band good. Theyre just a bunch of talentless scenesters. http://myspace-882.vo.llnwd.net/0012...25179882_l.jpg And they look like douche bags too.... |
Quote:
actually thats what punk music is, and they are very nice guys if you get the chance to meet them |
Quote:
Hell, I think I'm gonna start my own punk band then. |
Quote:
And....if I ever met one of the members of that band I would probably rip one of the oddly colored spikes out of his mohawk and kill myself with it because I couldn't stand how ibecilic he looked.. |
"Leaders of the scene"...that was gold.
well they are one of the biggest bands in the scene
Quote:
Doesn't matter because they can't music worth shit |
Quote:
They Cant Music????? whats that? how do you Music??? |
ok, You're a prick. I left out a word. They can't play music worth shit. Are you happy?
nope not happy, what makes them suck?
Quote:
I can't stand the casualties. The screaming is annoying, and punx is not a word, much less one that should be used constantly. They pretty much just all-around suck (or sux, i guess?)
