thanks moses, it still needs the levels adjusted and some of the tones smoothed out, but it shouldnt be to shabby once its complete. weve recorded a few other songs, ones that i personally like better than this one, but we want to get those mastered before we post them.

doesnt surprise me adidasss, its an acquired taste although weve been told we dont really fit an any particular genre but instead we kinda float between a few differant ones. which is a good, or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Our energy on stage is what people tend to remember, which im more than fine with. never a boring second ya know?

Yeah the cymbles (spelling?) were over powering the vocals. But for it not being the final cut it's still pretty damn good. I have a question though, what's a good cheap mic to use for recording? My band's hoping to do some this summer and we haven't got the slightest idea as to what to use. We have the drummer's mom's laptop and a couple programs I've gotten off of torrentspy

we have about 15 differant mics, i prefer to use our Peavey PV Low Z mic for the vocals..we recorded with a Fostex MR8 HD Digital Multi tracker..Timmy (rythem) played the black SG, I used the BC Rich and Sammy (bassist) is playing a custom Johnson bass. The guitars are ran through 2 Marshall cabs with JCM900 heads (1 is a 2100 series, the other is a 4100) bass is played though an Ampeg

i liked it...and was wondering what genre to put it under as it goes you guys were tight and the recording wasn't too shabby either. tell me when you've got more songs up.
and stage presence is EVERYTHING! so if you do as you say have a great energy when playing live then there'll be no stoping you
i probably wouldn't have made such an effort to get back with my old singer if i wasn't aware of the presence he brings to the stage.
the arrogant ones are always the best frontmen.
sorry i've strayed from the point a bit now, im gonna have another listen and analyse some more.
