Now this is a list, except the Sex Pistols should NEVER EVER be above the Clash. Ever. Also the Ramones blow ****s, and Wire is post punk

Seeing as how I forgot to include 2 of the great punk bands in my previous list, I'll swap the Ramones and Wire for D.O.A. and Fear. (And I'll even put the Clash above the Sex Pistols!)

New revised list... again in no particular order...

1.The Stooges
2.The Clash
3.The Sex Pistols
4.The Stranglers
5.The Dead Kennedys
6.The Buzz****s
7.Fear
8.D.O.A.
9.X
10.Cosmic Psychos

Default top 10 choices

this is hard to choose just 10.

#1 has to be the Hives. Their music is so amazing. My favorite song from them probably has to be "Hate to say I told you so."

#2 Afi
#3 +44
#4 Beastie Boys
#5 Billy Idol
#6 Blink-182
#7 Blondie
#8 The Clash
#9 Good Charlotte
#10 Green day...

The only thing the Beastie Boys ever did that I liked was Pollywog Stew, and I don't think that would do enough to generate a spot on my list.

Although a good bit of those bands are embarrassing stuff like Good Charlotte, +44 and The Hives stick out and really make me not want to take this list seriously although it is.

Anyway here's another list of my top ten, no order.

Minor Threat
Descendents
Bad Brains
Circle Jerks
Black Flag
The Germs
Op Ivy
Rudimentary Peni
Dayglo Abortions
Limp Wrist

The last three where just kind of thrown in there, good bands nonetheless.

First, Good Charlotte wasn't on her list. Second, what's your problem with The Hives?
