I Want A Mohawk But My Mom Wont Let Me Get One

But in all due reality.
My mom wont let me get a mohawk.
and that takes Liberty spikes down with it.
So, my question is, does anyone have any ideas on either how to convince my mom to let me get a mohawk, or any other hairstyles worth getting.

just tell her that just because you have a mowhalk it wont change anything about you besides what you look like for a month or 2 and that the only thing it could really do for you besides you apperance is make you conciously feel better about your apperiance and that it will be gone it like a month or two anyways
