just because the *******s at hot topic dont care how they make money, and just because they sell a dead kennedys patch dosnt mean the dead kennedys get the credit they deserve, they never get recognized publicly as an extremly important to the evolution of punk.

In all honesty i don't see Dead Kennedys being recognised publicly a lot at all. Althought that might just be in england.

The DK's aren't as publicized as they used to be. They used to get a lot of press, even in the mainstream.

What? Everytime I hear people discuss the history of punk DK always get mentioned.

They don't just sell a patch, they sell albums, shirts, stickers and patches and most stores sell to make money just so you know.

Its an american thing I think, they get alot of mention here not as much as the ramones but still alot especially in the southern california area. They're everywhere, along with Social Distortion.

If they sell the shirt, wallet, belt buckle, and back pack at Hot Topic, chances are the band is not underrated.
