Like you make out he was ticked off and he came back with a game show for old ladies on Grampian Tele six months later. It ruined his career and he deserved it for trying to ridicule young blokes by comparing them to Motzart. You make it sound like he was presenting Mr and Mrs the following autumn. That show started punk and got all the squares protesting outside halls and got it all over the media. That kick started the revolution from crappy rick wakemen prog rock to music with balls and the world changed. (not including the floyd in prog rock bashing.) Have you had your coffee! |
What the fuck are you talking about?

Don't know

And he did work again , on several things actually like 'What the papers say' which was one of BBC2's top rated news programmes. |

Man you guy's are sharp!
Do you have music pedia's on your laps!! ha ha ha. But he never lived it down. I suppose people here just don't like credit where credit is due. They always want to point to some obscure act who predates the explosion. But that is silly as people are asking who really made it happen? Otherwise we can just go back to cavemen. Do you see? A lot of the acts mentioned only existed because of the explosion made by the remark or band in question and therefore we know of them now. There is no right or wrong but just in peoples minds they know this was the moment that things were kickstarted and things exploded. That is what people are asking in their thread titles. |
Yeah but it was a long time ago , we've moved on
|
I haven't!!
I'm still at the silver jubilee ah ha ha |
