Why do people call bands like Fall Out Boy and Good charlotte "Sellouts"? (tickets, dance)

They're not really sell outs, unless we're using it in the sense that they're called Punk and want bands to sell out and sound like them. Maybe. I don't know how they're really sell outs. But they're not that good, that's for sure.
