I agree. I'm not saying they're not sellouts, I'm saying that they care about their music.

Of course they "care" about the music, it brings money in.
In the end however, they still suck.

I think RJA are OKAY, and I like A FEW Avril songs, but I don't think they changed directions they just got steadily worse. Same with Paramore, who I still like.

I personally just got sick of Paramore.

But they're an amazing band.

I like Avril's old stuff.

But now she's just too... poppy and girly and *twitches*

RJA's e-mails give off the idea that they think there's nobody better than them.

I don't know.

I feel that they're good.

But not good enough to have such an idea as that one.

C'mon, Avril was marketed from the start as the new image of a pop princess - one who is "punk" and "rebellious". They never really cared about the music that much, her image was just such a great opportunity.

That's true.

But did she not write her own stuff?

I don't know.

I just know some of the music meant something to me.

Until it became especially poppy.

She was never a huge pop princess until recently with the pink in her hair and the skills on her shirt.

It's like she doesn't know who she is, still.

I'm pretty sure she wrote most of the stuff on her first album but it was really, really terrible.
