No they're not, if they were extremely overrated people would finally stop caring about Minor Threat.

haha I agree, I mean I respect Black Flag for being DIY and everything and selling out huge halls and **** just by flyers alone and for being one of the first hardcore punk bands, but all of these kids like 17-21 that think they're punk rock still wearing minor threat and black flag t-shirts make me want to laugh in their faces. They're ok, minor threat is a little better imo but the point is, people worship black flag too much just for the fact that other people worship them so much.

I have a Black Flag shirt... But I wouldn't say I worship them.

I feel like I'm the only person who things "Slip it In" is the quintessential Black Flag song. The only one that might be moreso then "Slip it In" is "Depression".

Well thats because he liked Black Flag with Ron Reyes, Des or Keith Morris. Thats a common occurence with Black Flag fans. I prefer Ron Reyes myself.

Six Pack for me i love the simplicity of it and the way it makes me feel. Of the more notable stuff i'd probably say Rise Above is a favorite. Very popular song but i'm not gonna lose any street cred because its a killer riff.

I'm a fan of every singer they have had honestly. Each brought something different to the band.

I always give the First For Years a listen.

"My War" is essential listening. "Damaged" is also great, but maybe a tad over hyped in many circles, I always prefered "The First Four Years". Ron Reyes is one guy who doesn's seem to get mucg credit, but should. He and Morris are my favorite singers.
