I know this thread just got bumped and is like 5 years old, but my god, 5 pages and they still didn't get the genre right. It's post-hardcore. They're not Emo, but emo is a sub genre of post-hardcore, so that's why there are similarities.

I don't know what the 13 songs compilation is though..Seriously, what genre is that album?

It's a compilation of their earliest demos. Only one song from which has ever been released.

That is exciting news.
They should release it, then reform so I can see em live...

I second this notion.

Should be cool.
Yeahhhhh I read this recently, very excited!

Also, yes please tour again. Unfortunately I see Ian McKaye as a guy that would purposely not jump on the reunion bandwagon. Even though they never officially broke up.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

yeah i don't think it'll ever happen....i mean think of all the times he probably had the chance to make millions for any charity of his choice just by doing one small Minor Threat reunion show

I wonder how much those original demo copies would be worth now, that's if they still exist of course.

I honestly wouldn't rule out a reunion in the near future. They would be the type of band that would pick up where they left off and record new material rather than just play a few shows for cash.
